Volunteer... Download a volunteer application and learn about volunteering as a direct-service Volunteer Advocate that upon acceptance in the program, completes a specialized 29-hour advocacy training course that covers all aspects of the impact of victimization and how to support and assist victims in the aftermath of violence. These volunteer advocates are placed on-call and respond as scheduled to meet victims presenting to GSAC-CAC for services. Volunteer Advocate shifts are 12 hours in length during the week, and 24 hours on weekends.
